What are you afraid of? Why are you afraid? Do you know what fear does? It paralizes you. Let us look into the book of Joshua and see what would happen if we are not afraid.
In the first chapter of the book, God is telling Joshua, do not be afraid because He is with him. The next chapter says, that the people from Jericho are melting in fear because the God of heavens is with the Israelites.
What will happen if you are afraid?
1. You will not see the opportunities that God laid down in front of you. You will melt in fear.
2. You will not move according to the direction God wants you to move
3. You will fail to see God's power
4. People might fail to see God through you
What will happen if you are strong and courageous knowing that God is with you meaning you're not afraid?
1. Those who are not one with God will melt in fear
2. Things will work in favor of you
3. You will be victorious
4. God will be glorified
5. People will see God through you
How then can we remove fear from our lives? The Bible says, there is no fear in love for perfect love drives out fear. The level of your fear only measures how far you feel and knew how much God loves you. Be soaked into God's love. For it is the only way that fear can be driven away
How much does God loves you? No one can ever measure. His love knows no boundaries and measures no limits. His love is unconditional and overflowing. His love is more than what human mind can comprehend. His love led him to send His only son to die for you and me and save us from our sins and on the third day rose again proving that He is Lord that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. If you cannot feel God's love now, try opening your heart and remove the blocks that you have set before Him. If you cannot understand how much He loves you, that's okay. No one can really comprehend the love of the Father. You just have to receive it.
Do not be afraid for the Lord your God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He loves you!
