Have you ever doubted the existence of God? Have you ever asked this question, if God is real why there are sufferings? Why do God allow bad things to happen to good people. If yes, then you are the right person to read this article.
There is basically one reason why you asked that question. It is because you have been so aware of the existence of suffering in your life or in your world. It is either you have experienced it personally or you have witnessed it from someone closest to you or observed it from television, streets or web. What is evident about this fact is that we based God’s existence in our circumstance. But, can we really based God’s existence by what is happening to us? To illustrate, let’s say the sun. Do you think it will cease to rise if you’re experiencing gloomy days? Definitely not! The sea, do you think it will cease to be salty if you’re experience life’s bitterness? Of course not! So why then do we base God’s existence in our circumstances? Are the sun and seas greater than God? Or are you greater than God to say that He does not exist because of your current situation.
Don’t let your situation shut your eyes to the arms that the Father is wrapping around you. Look at the book of Job and be amazed on how God moves even in the times when His most faithful servant questioned Him. We may not understand the reason why certain things happen to us but we should never stop trusting God. He said in His word: “…I will be with you always up to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
I have been through different troubles in life. And to tell you the truth, it was through these times that God showed me how real He is, how He saved me, how He rescued me, how He still allowed me to breathe. Allow God to touch you in your current circumstance. Allow yourself to experience God’s existence. He exists because He exists. He will never cease to exist. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Keep this in mind always, God loves you!
