Being a financial advisor allows me to go to places where I never thought I could go. Actually, I don't even know that a place like this exists. Amazed by the beauty of this place and in awe of God's wonderful creation, I just began asking if a place as beautiful as this exist on earth there is more to expect of the paradise that Jesus promised to those who believe in Him. This only reminds me that there is a far more beautiful place waiting for me. Reminding me as well, that this life is just temporary that I should be expectant of the eternal life God promised me.
How about you? Are you expectant of the promise of God? Or are you in doubt that you have received this promise? Do you want to know how? Believe in Jesus. He is God who went down here on earth. He lived the life we should've lived and died the death we should've died. Three days after He rose again from the grave proving that He is a Son of God and offering the gift of salvation to anyone who believes and repent of their Sins. If you believe this, confess and receive now Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. He loves you and doesn't want you to perish. If you received Jesus and made Him the Lord of your life then you have just gained your ticket to paradise. For it is written (John 3:16), For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
If you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, please drop us a note. We are more than willing to help you with your walk with God.
We commonly have a misconception that faith can only be exercised on a one time bigtime basis. But, we are wrong. Sometimes or most of the time, faith is tested in simple situations like being able to sit in mrt or ride in a bus that looks full.
Few nights ago, I was on my way to a client. I have to ride a bus. But the bus looks full so some ladies in front of me stopped and chose to wait for another one. And here I was, wondering what to do. Am I going to follow the crowd? If I do I have to spend more than 10mins again and I will definitely be late to a client meeting. And that doesnt sound right so I decided to take a leap of faith and believe there is still a seat for me inside. And God never failed to amaze me, I found a very comfortable seat.
The story may sound so ordinary. But this ordinary event, taught me to take a leap even if others don't; to be successful even if others chose to stepback and wait for a moment; and, to believe that God is faithful even in the simplest things. Jesus kept on emphasizing that we should have a childlike faith, believing no matter what. Continue believing cause faith is not based on your feelings.
I asked few of my friends the reason why they want to be successful. Majority of them told me that they want to be successful because they want to fulfill God's calling into their lives.
How about you why do you want to be successful? But first, how do you define success?
For me, success is being contented with what you have, expectant of what you can be and hopeful of what you can do. Success isnt a future thing. It is your today. Sadly, we usually associate success with the amount of money in our bank or the position we have in our company. But success isnt just about money or position. It is more than that. You may have a lot of money but you may also broke a lot a relationships. Can you then call yourself successful?
Being successful means finding balance with your passion and purpose. Never ever choose what is good in exchange of what is best. In our pursuit for success, we may in one way or another made some major trade offs. Trade offs that have a lifetime effect. So be careful with your choices.
If you'll ask me why I want to be successful? It is because someday when I get to face the Heavenly Father I want to hear these words from Him "...well done my good and faithful servant..." (Mt 25:23).
How about you?
